Neutral switch required.

Postby Hucklow Tom » Mon Mar 12, 2018 1:20 pm

Does anyone have a surplus neutral switch for an H1 please?

I've heard all triples are the same but don't know for certain.

Only need the spring contact from underneath, so anything would do, if that part is good to go.

Cheers

The switches are all the same Tom, there is only one type across the whole Triple range..

Making a contact is dead easy using one of your steel (not Alu) beer tins and a pair of scissors.. I might even have a picture (of one I made earlier) somewhere..

Hmm, do you mean they didn't last or that your cutting out wasn't good.? I'd be surprised if the Copper one failed since that's what the originals are made from,
Just take yer time, it helps if you have a good one to hand so you can copy it.

Size is everything since if it touches the sides anywhere, the Neutral light will come on.

The stainless was too stiff and the copper too thin!!

Add some suspect workmanship and a ffffreezing cold garage and interest waned a touch.

Will be on with a beer can version very soon. Just preparing one now :D

I've got two H2 neutral switches, I'll dig them out in the morning and take pix.

Thanks H2R that will be great.
